MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A City of Memphis employee was rescued after being buried up to his neck in a 12-foot trench collapse on Tuesday, according to the Memphis Fire Department.
Firefighters said that workers on the scene found that one of their crewmates was trapped in a 12-foot trench collapse and was buried.
MFD said crews began assisting with rescue efforts while nearby neighbors called 911.
The dept. said the man was rescued within 12 minutes of arriving on the scene. He was then transferred to the EMS personnel for a medical evaluation…
