MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A woman accused of pulling out a gun during an argument at a Memphis Shelby County School last month is due in court on Wednesday morning.
Dekandis Sutton, 41, is charged with carrying a weapon with intent on school property.
Officers say it all started on April 29, when they responded to a disturbance call involving parents and students at Ridgeway Middle School.
Video footage at the school showed a woman, later identified as Dekandis Sutton, outside of her car holding a firearm at her side during a “heated” argument at the morning student drop-off area, police say.
