2 hurt, 1 critically, after planned sale turns into shooting in west Phoenix

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Two men were hurt, one critically, after police say a planned sale turned violent in a west Phoenix neighborhood Friday night.

Around 10 p.m., first responders were called to a shooting in the area of 79th Avenue and Hess Avenue, south of Buckeye Road.

Phoenix police said officers and fire crews arrived and found two men. One of them, a 20-year-old man, had been shot and was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries…
