PHOENIX (AZFamily) — One person is dead and four people are injured after a wrong-way driver crashed into another vehicle on Interstate 10 west of the Valley, according to officials with the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
Troopers responded to the call about a driver going eastbound in the westbound lanes around 6:50 p.m. on I-10 near milepost 103. The driver crashed into another vehicle and died at the scene, DPS officials said. All four people in the other vehicle were taken to hospitals, two of them with serious injuries, officials said.
