PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A child is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries that are “suspicious in nature,” according to officials with the Phoenix Police Department.
Officers and medics responded to a home near 27th and Missouri avenues just before 7 p.m. for reports of an injured child. First responders immediately began treating the 1-year-old for life-threatening injuries, police said.
