Bell Road Horror, Motorcyclist Dies After Fiery North Phoenix Crash

A Sunday evening crash at the intersection of Bell Road and 12th Street in north Phoenix left a motorcyclist dead and another driver injured after the bike erupted in flames, authorities said.

Emergency crews arrived to find the motorcycle on fire and rushed the rider to a hospital, where he later died. Another driver was also taken to the hospital with injuries that officials say are not believed to be life-threatening.

According to Arizona’s Family, officers responded to reports just after 5:30 p.m. Sunday that a motorcycle had caught fire following a collision with two other vehicles. The Phoenix Police Department told the outlet the motorcycle rider was transported and later pronounced dead, while the driver of the first struck vehicle is expected to survive.
