15-year-old charged with murder in Phoenix mall shooting, will be tried as an adult

The 15-year-old boy arrested after a fatal shooting at Desert Sky Mall in Phoenix earlier this month will be tried as an adult, authorities announced Thursday.

Guillermo Guzman was indicted on one count of second-degree murder, four counts of aggravated assault and one count of disorderly conduct, according to the Maricopa County Attorney’s office.
