Driver transporting ‘heavy load’ ordered out-of-service in Arizona for no CDL, medical card, or USDOT number

Arizona Department of Public Safety (AZDPS) Highway Patrol troopers placed a driver and a vehicle out-of-service for numerous violations.

June 23, 2026, AZDPS troopers with the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Unit stopped a vehicle hauling a piece of construction equipment on AZ-202 near Warner Road in Mesa, Arizona.

An inspection was conducted, and troopers learned that the driver of the pickup “did not have a CDL, medical card, or USDOT number.”…
