MESA, AZ (AZFamily) — Two people are recovering in the hospital after a shooting in Mesa early Tuesday morning.
The shooting was reported in a neighborhood near Ray and Ellsworth roads around 4:30 a.m. Police say two people were shot and rushed to the hospital with serious injuries, but are expected to survive.
One person was detained in connection to the shooting, according to investigators. Arizona’s Family witnessed the person being put in handcuffs and loaded into a patrol truck by Mesa officers.
