SCOTTSDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — The city of Scottsdale can now charge you with a misdemeanor if you call 911 and it is not really an emergency.
The Scottsdale City Council passed the new ordinance last week.
It may seem like a pretty stiff penalty, but according to the ordinance, the volume of 911 calls in Scottsdale is out of control and too many are not life-or-death emergencies…
