21st Century Healthcare, Inc., a leading manufacturer of vitamins, minerals, and supplements, and a portfolio company of Grant Avenue Capital LLC (“Grant Avenue”), a healthcare-focused, middle-market private equity firm, today announced the appointment of Katie Doyle to its Board of Directors.
Ms. Doyle brings over 30 years of experience leading and advising consumer health and wellness companies. She most recently served as Executive Chair of FoodScience Corporation, a manufacturer of nutritional supplements with branded, private label, and co-manufacturing lines of business. Prior to FoodScience, Ms. Doyle was Chief Executive Officer of Swanson Health, a private equity-backed e-commerce health and wellness business, and Senior Vice President and Corporate Officer at Abbott Laboratories, where she led the Abbott Nutrition Products Division responsible for a $3.2 billion portfolio of consumer health brands. Ms. Doyle began her career at McKinsey & Company, where she spent over 20 years advising leading consumer and retail companies. She continues to serve on the Board of Directors of multinational companies focused on health, wellness, retail, and e-commerce.
