PHOENIX Phoenix police are investigating a late-night, chain-reaction crash after a suspected impaired driver struck another vehicle before slamming into a Phoenix hospice facility early Saturday morning.

What we know:

Officers responded to the scene near 16th Street and Flower Street around 2 a.m. on Aug. 22 following reports of a vehicle crashing into a building. When they arrived, first responders found a passenger car that had driven directly into the building, which was occupied only by night-shift staff members at the time.
