Banner Ironwood Medical Center broke ground Thursday on a project that will add more than 32,000 square feet. The expansion is a direct result of nonprofit Banner Health’s mission to address growing community needs for accessible, quality healthcare.
The facility, located at 37000 N. Gantzel Road, will add a new two-story building to its existing emergency department to include an interventional radiology suite with pre- and post-op space, as well as additional room for future growth. The project will also expand the emergency department lobby to better serve patients and improve their experience from the moment they walk in.
