Queen Creek Man Arrested for Manslaughter After Fatal Flagstaff Pedestrian Collision

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. — Flagstaff Police have released additional details regarding a fatal vehicle-pedestrian collision Flagscanner reported on as the incident was unfolding Friday night.

According to the Flagstaff Police Department, officers were dispatched at approximately 7:49 p.m. on September 4 to the 1300 block of South Plaza Way for a reported collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.

When officers arrived, they located 69-year-old Flagstaff resident Gary Zeman unresponsive at the scene. Officers immediately began life-saving measures, but Zeman ultimately succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene…
