After developing an “unhealthy addiction” to smashburgers from downtown burger and bagel counter Stoop Kid, Mike Fasel found a way to feed his and his customers’ appetites.
Fasel opened The Joy Lush Club with his wife Kate in 2022 inside a shopping center on Camelback Road and Central Avenue. Later this month, following a brief closure for construction, the burger shop will open a kitchen inside the wine-and-beer bar.
The bar and bottle shop serves craft beer and a wine list featuring natural and local selections. It’s also a destination where fans can cheer for international soccer teams FC Barcelona and FC Bayern Munich, play trivia and gather with friends…
