PHOENIX (AZFamily) — It’s a First Alert Weather Day as we head into an active few days of storms across Arizona. Both today and tomorrow are First Alert days for increased storm chances.
Look for partly sunny skies and a high of 100 degrees in the Valley today. A few morning showers and isolated thunderstorms are possible, with a slightly better chance by late this afternoon and into the evening hours. The best chance, however, will be overnight and into tomorrow morning when showers and thunderstorms are expected to be widespread in the Valley.
Storm chances are near 70 percent late tonight and Wednesday morning, with heavy rain and flooding possible. Valley rain amounts are likely to be between a half inch and an inch, with a few pockets of higher totals…
