KINGMAN, AZ (AZFamily) — If you’ve driven between Phoenix and Las Vegas, you know the Kingman stretch of highway all too well. Now, a years-long project to smooth out that route has reached a milestone worth a road-trip photo stop.
As crews near completion of the upgrade for Phoenix-to-Vegas drivers, they just added a fitting crown jewel: a massive Route 66 sign, now perched proudly atop one of the project’s brand-new bridges.
