A Mesa church is paying $5 million for a permanent home in the shell of a former jewel in the city’s retail landscape.
Echoes Church bought the empty three-story, 154,646-square-foot Macy’s building in the Superstition Springs Center with the help of $2 million in financing from the Wesleyan Investment Foundation, according to commercial real estate tracker vizzda.com.
Echoes Church was founded by two pastors in 2023, according to its website, and has been holding services in Desert Ridge High School.
