Complaints escalate over data center construction in Phoenix

Complaints about predawn construction at the massive Menlo Digital data center have continued despite previous warnings from Phoenix, with an Ahwatukee resident now questioning whether the city is adequately enforcing its construction-hour restrictions.

Jurgita “Ana” Marshall, who lives near the five-building, 1-million-square-foot data center campus under construction near 48th Street and Thistle Landing Drive, said she documented workers at the site shortly after 6 a.m. Sept. 12, a Saturday.
