On Oct. 1, Scott’s Generations announced it would close its doors and serve its final meals on Sunday, Oct. 25. Until then, the Snyder family invites longtime customers, friends and community members to “stop by, enjoy a favorite meal and share a few memories.”
In a statement posted on its website, the Snyder family said, “To everyone who has eaten at our tables, ordered from our deli counter, trusted us with a family celebration or simply stopped in for a cup of coffee over the past 37 years, thank you. It has been an incredible privilege to serve this community. The restaurant may be closing, but the relationships, stories and memories created here will always be part of our family.”
The restaurant was founded in 1989 by father and son Gene and Scott Snyder. Gene previously owned a deli in the Hillside neighborhood of Queens, New York, and envisioned bringing a piece of New York to the Valley.
