PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A woman was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries Monday after being hit by a car, according to officials with the Phoenix Police Department.
First responders were called to the area of Northern and 19th avenues around 3:30 p.m. for reports of a crash involving a pedestrian.
Phoenix police said the woman, who was on a mobility scooter, was in a crosswalk but was crossing the street against the traffic signal when she was hit by a driver who did not see her. The driver stayed at the scene, police said…
