Video Shows Thief With ‘Really Low IQ’ Stealing What He Thinks Are Computers

Some are so caught up in the act that they don’t even stop to think about what they’re stealing in the first place. That’s what happened in Arizona when one man smashed the window of a tech company in the middle of the night and swiped multiple computers from the business. Or at least, that’s what the burglar thought he stole.

Burglar fails to check what he’s stealing

On October 4 at around 2:19 a.m., a male thief shattered a low window to a tech business near University Drive and State Route 143 and rushed to steal as much as he could, as shown in surveillance footage revealed by local outlet FOX 10 Phoenix.

Video shows the burglar, in a black baseball cap and a blue and white plaid shirt, knocking out the window with a few swipes and emerging through the blinds to steal as many computers as he could. Over the next 20 seconds or so, he grabs as many small white Mac Mini computer boxes as he can and throws them outside. As he leaves in a hurry, he takes several monitor-sized cardboard boxes for good measure.

Unfortunately for the thief, all the boxes he took were empty…
