Wall of dust, rain moving through Valley to kick off weekend weather activity

A wall of dust began making its way through the Valley on Saturday afternoon with rain and storms following it, weather officials said.

The National Weather Service for Phoenix said the dust wall was moving east and northeast and was created near Gila Bend by a cluster of storms around 11:50 a.m.
