PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A 91-year-old Navy veteran is celebrating his birthday with an unforgettable trip: flying to Washington, D.C., with over three dozen fellow Valley veterans on an honor flight.
Thirty-eight Arizona veterans and 18 guardians will spend three days visiting the memorials built in their honor — at no cost to them. Semper Fi Heating, Cooling & Plumbing, a veteran-owned Valley HVAC company, sponsored Tuesday’s flight.
