Shaq wants Bol Bol to improve his performance and attitude: “Either happy to be here or you want to make a difference”

Shaquille O’Neal has been critical of today’s young stars. He’s criticized Donovan Mitchell and Zion Williamson, among others. But The Diesel has never been so critical about any player than he has been with Phoenix Suns’ big man, Bol Bol.

Since Shaq’s comments ‘comparing’ Bol Bol to Victor Wembanyama went viral, he has always found time to talk about Manute’s son. And as he said before when he critiqued Mitchell and Williamson, he is doing so to push them harder because he knows they can be better.

My advice to Bol Bol is act like you want it,” said Shaq during the latest episode of The Big Podcast. “Some people just get happy to be here. You either happy to be here or you want to make a difference. Or you want to be the difference…I urge you people to keep it going. Like all you youngsters out there. You want to go viral, and you go viral on Monday. But what are you going to do on Tuesday? On Wednesday? I’m happy for you, you’re getting paid, your dreams just finally came true, but it’s always more.”
