MESA, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) – Silent Witness is asking for the public’s help to find a suspect in a shooting that left a man dead in Mesa on Halloween night. Around 11:20 p.m. on Oct. 31, 2023, Mesa police responded to reports of a possible shooting in the area of Power Road and Superstition Springs Boulevard. There, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound lying on the street. Police believe the man, identified as 37-year-old Michael Burks, had been on a bicycle when he was shot.
