Straining under the increased passenger load in 2023, Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport is set to open the doors on a new, $28 million terminal expansion in less than a month. The project, half of which was funded by the federal Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, has been a long time in the planning and will address some of the gaps that the unbridled growth and popularity have exposed.
