Lisa Dianne Jameson, 23: Arizona Woman Disappeared After Finishing Work Shift In 1991

Working late-night and graveyard shifts can be daunting. It was November 4, 1991, in Chandler, Arizona when Lisa finished her overnight shift at an electronics business. According to reports, Lisa was able to get a ride from one of her coworkers who dropped her off around McQueen Road and Chandler Boulevard around 7:15 a.m. It’s unclear where she exited the vehicle as reports don’t specify if she was at a house, apartment, or corner.

In December, Lisa’s vehicle, a 1989 Pontiac LeMans, was located in the nearby city of Phoenix. It was found abandoned in the parking lot of an adult bookstore, but there was nothing inside to suggest that a violent struggle or altercation of any kind occurred inside. Nothing that authorities were able to lift from the vehicle aided in finding out how or why Lisa Dianne Jameson vanished, either.

Unsubstantiated Rumors Abound

Some have suggested that Lisa possibly took a trip or started a new life, but that wasn’t in her character. All of her clothing and personal items were left at her home with her husband, and those close to her couldn’t believe that she would leave behind her two-year-old son. Lisa’s credit cards and bank accounts remained untouched, and her family—a large group that included five of Lisa’s siblings—didn’t understand where she could be.
