CARSON COUNTY, Texas – More than 21 pounds of suspected cocaine was seized by a Texas Highway Patrol trooper over the weekend during a traffic stop in Carson County. The Texas Department of Public Safety said at 3:08 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 3, the trooper stopped a 2014 Dodge Ram pickup truck traveling east on Interstate 40 near Groom for a traffic violation. During the stop, the trooper found eight plastic-wrapped bundles of suspected cocaine.
