Owner fights Gilbert over land acquisition

Gina Schuh said the first time the Town of Gilbert knocked on her door was in 2019 with an offer to buy a piece of her horse property for road construction. Schuh said that because she couldn’t stop the development, she agreed to sell 7 acres on the north and west borders for $200,000 so the town could widen Lindsay Road for an interchange project and improved Lexington Road to the east.
