CHANDLER — Effective Feb. 1, Gila River Business Enterprises took over management of Wild Horse Pass Chevron, located at 5139 Wild Horse Pass Blvd. in Chandler, according to a news release.
The site will become the first of seven branded “Gila Gas & Goods” fuel stations and convenience stores across the Gila River Indian Community. New management plans to reduce fuel prices, and to that end, plans a special Tuesday, Feb. 13, “Gallontine’s Day” promotion.
On Feb. 13, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., visitors will receive $1 off per gallon of regular unleaded 87-octane fuel only. Visitors can start lining up in the staging area behind the fuel station 30 minutes prior to each session (8:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.)
There will also be “swag bag” Gila Gas & Goods items for vehicles as they line up and giveaways at the store from partnering brands such as PepsiCo, Coca-Cola, Hensley, Crescent Crown, Kalil, Chevron and Coremark.
