A baby has died after a crash Sunday afternoon in Mesa.
Mesa fire officials say they were called to the area of Power and Baseline roads for a reported crash.
A total of five people were transported from the scene for their injuries. One of the victims, identified at this time as a nearly 3-month-old boy, died at the hospital.

Police say a car was approaching Power Road when it rear-ended a vehicle stopped at a red light. The vehicle that was rear-ended was pushed into the intersection and rolled over. The first vehicle also crashed into a third car.
All four people in the second vehicle, including two children, were taken to a hospital. The driver and front passenger of the vehicle had minor injuries. A child was treated for a broken bone. Police say the boy who died was in a properly installed child safety seat at the time of the crash.
The driver of the first vehicle sustained broken bones and is being treated at the hospital. Police say no signs of impairment were noted.
