Tragedy struck a Phoenix neighborhood Wednesday afternoon when a fire engulfed a residence and its adjacent guest house near 14th Street and Dunlap Avenue, according to FOX 10 Phoenix. Phoenix firefighters responded to the scene, however the intensity of the blaze had already taken a considerable toll on the structures. “Crews arrived on scene and found a fast moving fire that started in a home, spread to an adjacent guest home and surrounding brush. Crews utilized a coordinated attack with fire units, surrounding the fire and gaining fire control,” Phoenix Fire Capt. Rob McDade was quoted in the report.
