Pickleball nationals in Mesa Nov. 9-17

The 2024 USA Pickleball Biofreeze National Championships — with more than 2,600 athletes — will be held Nov. 9-17 at Arizona Athletic Grounds in Mesa.

The inaugural Dinks for a Difference Celebrity Match will feature Joey Fatone, pop star, as host of the event at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, at Arizona Athlete Grounds, 6321 S. Ellsworth Road.

Dinks for a Difference will showcase several celebrities and their prowess on the pickleball court. Celebrities include six-time Olympic gold medalist Amy Dyken; The Golden Bachelor Star Gerry Turner; former NFL and ASU quarterback Jake Plummer; and NHL executive and former Arizona Coyotes winger Shane Doan. Additional celebrities competing in the event will be announced in the coming weeks via USA Pickleball’s social media and Nationals website at usapickleballnationals.com .

The schedule for the competition Nov. 9-17 is:

  • Nov. 9–17: Amateur Competition
  • Nov. 12–17: Pro Qualifiers and Competition
  • Nov. 9-10: Juniors Competition
  • Nov. 9–11: Wheelchair Competition
