Apache Junction, AZ – A devastating crash on US 60 near Apache Junction has left 26-year-old Victoria in critical condition, fighting for her life after sustaining severe injuries. The accident occurred at approximately 1:05 PM on October 28th, when a trailer loaded with steel pipes jack-knifed, crossing the median and colliding with Victoria’s car. The impact was so intense that some steel pipes pierced through to the front seat. Emergency crews from Mesa Fire Department and other units worked tirelessly to free Victoria from her car in a complex rescue operation. She was then transported to a trauma center in critical condition, with extensive injuries requiring life support.
The collision, which shut down portions of US 60 for hours, also caused significant traffic delays as authorities from multiple agencies managed the scene. Victoria’s loved ones have launched a GoFundMe to aid in her long road to recovery and support her small business, “Tor’s Mudslinger,” a pottery shop that holds a special place in her heart. Located in Goldfield Ghost Town, her pottery shop has been her passion, and her family hopes to keep it afloat while she battles through this challenging time.
