Mesa teen pleads guilty in shooting death

A Mesa teen faces at least 10 years in prison after accepting a plea deal in the 2023 shooting death of a man. Armando Medina, who recently turned 18, was 16 at the time that he shot and killed 24-year-old Marquis Johnson in the 1200 block of N. Mesa Drive early evening Feb. 5.
