Some good news for residents of the quaint East Valley city.
Citizens of the East Valley may already be aware of the fact that Gilbert, Arizona is a highly sought after neighborhood for couples and young professionals looking to settle down and start a family. According to a recent study from Wallethub, this locale boasts multiple reasons for attracting such a reputation, as Gilbert’s schools, health care systems, and family activities have ranked among the best. The study, which analyzed over 180 cities across the contiguous United States, concluded that Gilbert was ranked number 6 overall as the best city in the country to raise a family.
The number one slot went to a small city in the San Francisco Bay Area called Fremont. The California paradise took home the gold due mostly to economic factors, inclduing the high rate of family income associated with homeowners in the region. Despite ranking sixth overall, Gilbert offered the single highest percetage of families with young children among those listed, which means the city may be on a direct course for that top spot.
