NOGALES, AZ — Two men from Nogales, Arizona, were arrested for human smuggling after Border Patrol agents stopped their vehicle west of Nogales. The incident took place on Saturday evening, and involved a Ford Fusion suspected of transporting illegal aliens.
According to officials, agents from the Nogales Station observed the vehicle on Ruby Road and stopped it based on reasonable suspicion for an immigration inspection. Inside, agents found six adults—four women and two men—who were all Mexican nationals and unlawfully present in the United States. A juvenile from Mexico was also in the car without legal status.
