Child rushed to hospital after being found in backyard pool in Scottsdale

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — A child was rushed to a nearby hospital after being found unresponsive in a backyard pool in Scottsdale, according to officials with the Scottsdale Fire Department.

Paramedics were called to an area near East Shea Blvd and North 124th Street around 5 p.m. for reports of a drowning. CPR was being performed on the child while the child was being taken to the hospital, officials said. The age of the child is not known at this time.
