PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Phoenix police say a man is dead after he reportedly confronted a shooter with a crowbar at a central Phoenix apartment complex early Wednesday morning.
Officers responded to a shooting call around 3:30 a.m. at the Vesta on 12th Apartments at Maryland Avenue and 12th Street, just north of Bethany Home Road.
When they arrived, they found a man in his early 40s, lying in the parking lot with a gunshot wound. First responders rushed the man to the hospital for treatment but he later died from his injuries. His name has not yet been released…
