PHOENIX — A 4-year-old child was left in critical condition and two adults were hospitalized in a two-vehicle crash in north Phoenix on Friday morning, authorities said.
At roughly 8 a.m. on Friday, Phoenix police responded to the area of 49th Avenue and Happy Valley Road. The child and both adult drivers were removed from their respective cars and taken to a nearby hospital by the Phoenix Fire Department. The adults had minor injuries.
One of the cars was “actively on fire” when police arrived, according to authorities.
