PHOENIX (AZFamily) — An Air Quality Alert is in effect today due to forecasted high ozone levels.
Today (Happy Mother’s Day!) is a First Alert Weather Day because of the moderate to high heat risk. Highs will be near 105; if we do hit 105, it would be the warmest day since October. Some high clouds will move in during the day, although it probably won’t have much of an effect on the warm temperatures.
