A Mesa resident who manages a school cafeteria for Gilbert Public Schools has won regional honors from the national School Nutrition Association.
Pamela Sosa, nutrition services manager at Playa Del Rey Elementary School, was named Southwest Region Manager of the Year.
The award given to Sosa “recognizes the dedication, ingenuity and compassion shown by cafeteria managers who have excelled in providing high-quality, nutritious meals to students throughout the school year,” the national nonprofit said…
