Arizona gets a weekend relief from triple digit temperatures after reaching 104 degrees Fahrenheit on Friday. A Valley meteorologist says this change in pressure systems is only a small break before the extreme heat stays.
A low pressure system is the reason for the lower temperatures.
“We are seeing a really weak area of low pressure that is actually moving to our north,” Phoenix Meteorologist Gabriel Lojero said. “So that’s weakened the high pressure system that’s been over us the past couple of days.”…
