Mesa Approves Preliminary Plat for Four-Unit Commercial Condo Development

A four-unit commercial condominium subdivision is officially in the pipeline following approval by the Mesa Planning and Zoning Board. The project, located on a 40-acre parcel roughly 1,600 feet south of the intersection of East Elliot Road and South Everton Terrace, received unanimous preliminary approval on April 23.

The subdivision, known as the EdgeCore condo project, was approved in a 4-0 vote. Board Chair Benjamin Ayers and members Jayson Carpenter and Chase Farnsworth were not present during the session.

The site lies within development units 5 and 6, positioned just south of the Eastmark master-planned community. According to Mesa Planner Kwasi Abebrese, the site already contains one completed data center and a Salt River Project (SRP) substation. Two additional buildings are under construction…
