The Chandler Police Department states it has received several reports from residents concerned about what it calls young people engaging in dangerous “pranks.” “These actions include kicking front doors, shutting off power to homes, and vandalism — some of which has caused real damage,” Chandler Police said on its social media. “Some homes are being repeatedly targeted by these individuals.” Police said the “pranks” can have serious consequences and lead to charges like criminal damage, disorderly conduct or harassment. “Parents, please take a moment to talk with your children,” Chandler Police wrote. “Know where they are, who they’re with, and what they’re doing. Help them understand the legal and personal consequences of these actions.” We’d like to invite our readers to submit their civil comments on this issue. Email [email protected].…
