PHOENIX (AZFamily) —A girl is dead after being shot in a south Phoenix neighborhood on Tuesday night.
Phoenix police received an “unknown trouble” call around 9:15 p.m. near 6th Avenue and Wier Avenue. While officers were headed to the scene, they learned the caller had left the area in a vehicle and were able to locate them near 7th Avenue and Buckeye Road.
Officers then learned that a girl had been shot. She was taken to the hospital, where she later died. Police say they have detained multiple people who were in the home at the time of the shooting…
