CHANDLER, AZ (AZFamily) — The Chandler Police Department is warning of a new damaging social media trend involving kicking doors, vandalizing homes, and turning off electrical boxes.
Police want parents to talk to their teens and tell them that these so-called “pranks” aren’t harmless and can result in criminal charges.
“They’re just getting weird TikTok challenges, and they’re daring each other,” said Angelica Proffer, who says she experienced this in Mesa. Her neighbors were also victims. “Their garage door was dented pretty bad.”…
