Leopard print dog, pups left in scorching Arizona heat find new foster family

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — The Arizona Humane Society has done Something Good to help a colorful mama dog and her pups left outside in the scorching sun.

Rainbow Brite, a 5-year-old pit bull mix and her nine puppies were found tethered to a short leash in the heat with no water. The owners agreed to surrender the dogs, saying they couldn’t care for them, and the dogs went to spend some time at the shelter.

However, they wouldn’t be there long. On Tuesday, the Arizona Humane Society announced that Rainbow Brite and her pups have found a foster home where mama and her “sprites” can grow big and healthy…
