PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A man is hospitalized following an early morning shooting in south Phoenix.
Police responded to a home in a neighborhood northeast of 40th Street and Baseline Road around 4:30 a.m. on Thursday. When officers arrived, they were told someone inside the house had been shot and couldn’t get out.
Officers went inside and found the wounded man, then carried him outside. Phoenix Fire paramedics then transported him to an area hospital. Police say the man’s injuries are serious, but not life-threatening.
